The Bournemouth Hockey Club summer league has been successfully running for many years and provides off-season hockey in a friendly and competitive environment. 

Using both the Astro pitches at Chapel Gate as well as QE school near Wimborne, there are two divisions of fixtures for both mens and ladies hockey with fixtures scheduled on three evenings per week throughout the summer months from May until the end of July.
